We are connecting Organizations with Volunteers to drive Social Impact, Sustainable Development and Common Good.
Volunteer.ng is an initiative of Wetland Cultural and Education Foundation developed through grant support from 9jacode Tech Limited. A lot of young professionals look out for opportunities to give back to their community. To volunteer their time and effort to social development, but they can't find that one platform to see volunteering opportunities. Many nonprofit organizations and social projects are constantly in need of extra skilled human resources to scale their social impact. Unfortunately they don't have the funds to hire all the hands they need and they look out for the support of volunteers. But they don't have that one platform that will give them access to intentional volunteers. We believe that volunteering is a means to educate youths to develop the sense of responsibility and spirit of service. We believe that with Volunteer.ng youths can learn values and contribute to Common Good.
We are on a mission to increase the social, environmental and economic impact in society by connecting volunteers with the right volunteering opportunities and organizations with competent and intentional volunteers.
Our vision is a society where youths, professionals and organizations show the sense of responsibility and spirit of service required for a society of common good.
Our goal for the rest of 2023 is to source 30 new volunteering projects every month to ensure a continuous stream of opportunities. As well as to onboard 20 new volunteers weekly, bolstering our capacity and pool of volunteers.
